Low-code configuration console

The entire reporting experience — sections, questions, plain-language and clinical wording, required flags, and branching rules — is one configuration file. Program staff edit it here; the form changes without a code deployment. Try it: pick a question (or add a new one), change its wording or branching rule, save, then open the reporting form. Every save is snapshotted in the version history below, with one-click rollback.

Configuration version history

Every Save creates a named snapshot with an automatic summary of what changed. Roll back to any earlier snapshot with one click — the reporting wizard follows immediately.

Production: role-based configuration service with approval workflow, audit trail, and staged publish.

Production design: in this demonstration, saved changes persist to your browser's localStorage so the wizard picks them up instantly. In production, this console would front a role-based configuration service with schema validation, version history, side-by-side diffing, and a publish/approval workflow — so CDC personnel can evolve the form safely, and every change is auditable and reversible.
